Privacy Policy
At NameSpark, accessible via the main sandbox application, we prioritize user safety and data hygiene above all. This Privacy Policy documents information types collected and processed on our server-side networks.
1. Zero-Collection for AI Generation Inputs
When utilizing NameSpark's AI Business Name Generator, we do NOT write or record your inputs to permanent storage. Your description blocks, targeted industries, styles, and options parameters are formatted as encrypted server-side requests and passed directly to the Gemini LLM API utilizing an authenticated private header.
This operational architecture completely eliminates the threat of domain snipers—meaning no one can inspect your brainstorming parameters or block your trademark availability paths post-generation.
2. Logging and Transmit Security
In order to defend NameSpark against denial-of-service spikes and malicious injection scripts, our safety filters collect temporary client credentials (specifically, rate-limiting counters mapped against temporary IP address hashes).
These logs are used exclusively for rate limit governance (restricted to 5 operations per minute per IP), are kept solely in memory, and auto-delete on a rolling hourly window. We never log:
- User email addresses (except with optional contact forms)
- Subject parameters
- Successfully compiled business name lists
- Gemini secret credentials or private API keys
3. Data Transmission under TLS
All communications with the NameSpark host are encrypted in transit via Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS). This defends against packet tampering and eavesdropping by intermediate actors.
4. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising Disclosures
We partner with Google Analytics and Google AdSense to monitor traffic performance and deliver relevant, high-quality advertisements to our visitors. In compliance with strict Google publishing policies, we disclose the following operational parameters:
- Google Analytics: We employ Google Analytics to gather non-personally identifiable traffic metrics, such as popular pages, device classifications, and average durations. This helps us optimize navigation structures and resources.
- Google AdSense Advertising: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to NameSpark or other websites on the Internet.
- DoubleClick DART Cookie: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our site and other destinations across the web.
- Personalization Opt-Out: Users can opt-out of personalized advertising entirely by visiting the Google Ad Settings portal, or by using a general browser add-on. Alternatively, you can opt-out of third-party cookie usage for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative choice tool.
5. Compliance with Regulatory Mandates (GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA)
For visitors from the European Union (EU) and California (US), NameSpark respects all individual rights concerning personal information. You have the right to restrict processing, opt-out of tracking, and review disclosed parameters. Our server-side code does not persist, maintain, or sell individual user-authored data or billing records.
In accordance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), NameSpark does not knowingly solicit or collect information from children under the age of 13.
